One Thing You Should NEVER Do Online

Are you new to the idea of branding yourself and marketing your business online?

If you’re in network marketing, direct sales or a home based business, stick around to learn the one thing you should NEVER do online when building your business online.

Online you are constantly bombarded by people trying to sell you things. I connect with many people who fill their newsfeed with product and sales promotions. And if you’ve done that in the past (I’ve been guilty myself), I’d like to show you another way. Because after a while, people get tired of seeing you sell, sell, sell without giving them any value first.

A key point to always remember is that people like to do business with people they know, like and trust.

When marketing online for the home business industry building a personal brand is incredibly powerful.

You can read a little more on WHY personal branding is one of the best ways to market yourself by clicking HERE.

What if you could build trust, credibility and provide value to people online? That’s how you create a strong following and people will come to you and want to learn about your business.

Now that you’ve got a bit of the background, what is the one thing you should NEVER do online?

A common misconception when your building your business online is the fact that you have to share information about your products and your company. People create fanpages and put their company logo all over their pages. But that’s branding the company and not yourself. Remember the part about building trust, credibility and giving value? Think about how you got started in your business. You probably joined someone that you trusted and liked.

Another reason why you shouldn’t put your company name all over your online pages is because most people will do research and they will never even tell you they looked into your company.

For example, my friend joined a business and their products are specialty tea. She posted a few times on Facebook promoting her company.
The first thing I did was go to Google, and type in the name of company to see what she was in and what she was doing.

She has no idea that I was looking at her business.

Imagine how many curious leads you would lose because of this.

Better yet, do a google search of your company right now but add the word ‘scam’ at the end. For example XYZ Company scam.

Take a look what pops up.

This is what your potential prospect WILL look at, and there will be a ton of other articles of other people trying to recruit your prospect into their downline or another company.

So the one thing you should NEVER do online when building your business is to post your company name everywhere.

Don’t take my word for it, if you look up several 6 and 7 figure online marketers, it is very hard to find out what their mlm business opportunity is.

Instead take the time to learn about how to create a personal brand and use attraction marketing to bring people to you. You can learn more about attraction marketing by clicking HERE.
