Branding for Network Marketing [6 Tips]
Would you like to know how to use branding for network marketing to attract the right prospects?
Stay tuned because in this post, I will be sharing my 6 tips on how to do so.
Building YOU, INC.
Before we get started, why brand YOU when everyone else out there is branding their company?
When you post your company information, it’s makes it very easy for your prospects to go search on google for more information. This isn’t always the best source because there are many posts on how your (legit) business is a scam and negative reviews end up showing first.
Another reason is because your prospect might find another distributor’s personal site and sign up under them. (This actually happened to me).
You also have no idea if someone might be checking out your opportunity and you’ll never have a chance to answer any objections or questions because they already found out it was a ‘scam’ from reading reviews online.

Branding for Network Marketing
Here is a quick summary:
Avoid posting your business everywhere on your social media profile, it looks spammy and people don’t like to see posts like that.
People like to buy, but they don’t like to be sold.

6 Tips on Branding For Network Marketing
1. Brand Your Name
Using your name builds the know, like and trust factor rather than a generic company name and logo. People then begin to associate your name with value. It also positions you as an authority figure.
On another note, companies come and go. If your company closes it’s doors, or you decide to move to another opportunity, you will have to rebuild your audience from scratch.
2. Know Your Audience
Who are they, how old are they? What do they think about before bed? Create an image of your customer avatar.
Once you understand who they are, you can understand their problems. Once you understand their problems, you can position yourself as the solution.
If you can see through Jane Brown’s eyes, you can sell what Jane Brown buys.
3. Create Content
Create content that solves your target market’s problems. People go online to learn, socialize and have fun. They don’t go online to get pitched constantly.
Use content to position yourself as the credible expert. You can even use other people’s content (with proper credits to the creators) in the beginning. This is called content curation.
Blogging is one of the best long term strategies.

4. Profile Picture
People need to associate a face with your great content. Put your picture up. People don’t want to do business with flowers, cars, or pets. They want to see your face and get to know you. It’s a lot harder to build a relationship without your picture up online.
When choosing a picture, know your audience. Some people choose to go with professional photos, some prefer casual. My picture included my daughter because I’m looking to connect and attract parents.
5. What’s Your Message?
What does your brand represent? Have a tagline that explains what you do and who are you serving. Don’t be afraid to be specific and it doesn’t have to be perfect. As you and your brand evolve online, so will your tagline.
The reason why you should have a tagline is because it helps your prospects identify very quickly if you can serve them. Otherwise it’s easy to end up with many followers and connections on social media but they don’t engage with you because they’re the wrong fit for your message.
6. Build Value
Create value through your content online. Use it to build relationships. This also allows your prospects to see you as a credible authority and someone who always gives good information.
When your followers and friends on social media see you giving value based information rather than business and product pitches, they will stick around and engage (like, comment and share) on your posts. This will increase the likelihood of them taking the time to see your business opportunity because you have build the trust factor.
Follow the 80/20 principle. 80% Value, 20% Sales.
